Good Bye, it was a pleasure 馃挊

Today's class was the last one (oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh馃槗) before the exams.      During the class we have been talking about the changes in the forms of evaluation. Instead of a grupal project we will do an exam composed of two questions (those questions had been reduced in number). At the beggining of the class, a group presented a role play about the Conflict Resolution Activity based on a conflict where two kids were fighting to write the date on the blackboard.      Afterwards, the teacher give us two papers where we need to underlined some good and bad points of the subject       I want to point out that in this class I have learned so much thanks to the films or scenes that the teacher has reccomended such as Harry Potter or Good Will Hunting

R-Dedos ··· Theory and practice

Imagen
With the intention of learning the theory of classroom organization and management, the teacher proposed an activity based on the R-Fingers theory (relax, the activity is not about the famous Star Wars character).  The purpose of this protocol is to resolve a conflict where students have an argument and the teaching team has to intercede. The protocol has these steps: R= relax D= stop the aggression + calm down  E = active listening D = why is this occuring? O = decide and offer the strategies to solve it S  = get into a neutral solution     This is our proposal -->

Non-verbal Communication

Imagen
In today class I have realised that teaching as a influence take into account many other aspects and not only talking or repeating throught words. A substantial portion of our communication is nonverbal. Every day we respond to thousands of nonverbal cues and behaviors including postures, facial expressions, eye gaze, gestures, and tone of voice. From our handshakes to our hairstyles, nonverbal details reveal who we are and impact how we relate to other people.     There are different types of non-verbal communication: - Kinesthetic: how we use our body. - Paralinguistic: how words are said. - Proxemic: how we interact. This class has been one of the most interesting because it provides us with consciousness about how we can use our body for helping during the learning process.  Afterwards, the Erasmus students presented their Guiding Program P.S.: Here I attached a video of Mr. Bean where it is exemplified the Non - Verbal Communication. https://youtu...

Another day of presentations :)

Guiding Programs      During this class the presentations of the educational programs continued, in our case my group had already presented them, so our role was passive and critical at the same time.       There were several presentations, although the one I liked the most was the one that focused on an anti-bullying project called KIVA, where they faced this scourge from inside the classroom. In addition, I also liked the one that focused on students who have violent actions within the classroom and / or school.      As a personal opinion, I must admit that it is a bit tiresome to listen to each and every one of the educational programs presented in the same w...

Montessori Method talk Experience

Imagen
Today's class has been different from what it would normally be because thanks to the combination of this subject with Educational Psychology.  Today's class has been different from what it would normally be because thanks to the combination of this subject with Educational Psychology during the cultural week of the Faculty, we have attended a talk given by teachers from schools that follow the Montessori method.  The theoretical part, explained for about an hour, was very interesting but the part that I liked the most and that I found most useful was the practical part because we have been able to see the methodology applied with different materials.  My opinion about this way of teaching and educating is clear. I think that the materials are really useful and should be applied in other educational forms but I consider that this method is too flexible.  I believe that all children should be free but that does not release them from knowing where the limits are, ...

Guiding Program Presentations

Imagen
After completing the test proposed by a Master student about educational aspects, the presentations started.       The order of presentation was chosen by the interest of the topic selected by the group. In our case (TeamSant Group), we were the first ones and the topic of the Guiding Program was "Immigrant students’s reception".      We choose this topic because it is unfortunately in current due to the war between Ukraine and Russia. This is the leaflet we used to help us in the presentation:      I really enjoyed doing this program, because I am a quite interested person in this topic. Also, we as a group, advocate human rights.       The teacher was evaluating us with a rubric, and our mates also evaluate us:      At the following class, a second group explained their guiding program about "Emotional education"
